BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1981 in Romania, Dani first discovered techno music in 1993 while living in Germany. From then on his musical tastes were to be dictated by an electronic sound.
It wasn’t until the year 2000 in Canada that he discovered DJ-ing.
Dani is well known for his diverse range during his sets, going from groovy minimal techno and tech-house to bouncy melodic techno.
His sound has touched down in countries such as Romania, Canada, Thailand, and his current place of residence, Japan where he has performed mainly in Tokyo as well as Osaka.

His first appearance together with a well renowned DJ was in 2003 at the “La Hoya” music festival in Romania where he played alongside Pauli Steinbach (Cocoon, Frankfurt). Following this he has played with DJs such as Christopher Lawrence, Ken Ishi, Max Graham, Deep Mariano, Kevin Gorman and Dino Sabatini.

During his stay in Japan he has been playing at renowned clubs such as Womb, Ageha, Air, and  Eleven, which was previously known as Yellow.

Dani first started producing music together with one of his good friends Fobee in Vancouver,  and released his first track on Beatport under Vise Versa Music under the name Integer. At the moment he is working on his individual deep, hypnotic sound which is receiving good reviews from artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Mariano as well as many local artists in Tokyo, and will soon enough become his trademark in the world of electronic music.

 

1981年ルーマニア出身。幼少期をドイツで過ごし1993年にドイツ・テクノに目覚める。その後カナダに移住し、2000年にはバンクーバーで本格的にDJ活動を始める。グルービーなミニマル・テクノ、テック・ハウスからバウンシーなメロディック・テクノまで、音楽ジャンルの幅広さに定評がある。DJとしてすでにルーマニア、カナダ、タイ、現在拠点の日本など、国際的に活躍する。
2003年にはルーマニアの音楽フェスティバル”La Hoya”で大御所DJ Pauli Steinbach (Cocoon, Frankfurt)と共演を果たす。続いて、Christopher Lawrence、Ken Ishi、Max Graham、Deep Mariano、Kevin Gorman、Dino Sabatiniなど世界的ビッグネームと共演する。
2008年から東京を拠点に音楽活動を始め、シーンを率いるWomb、AgeHa、Air、Eleven（旧Yellow）などでターンテーブルを回す。また、近年は音楽プロデュースにも精力的に取り組む。デビュー作はバンクーバー拠点の音楽仲間FobeeとのコラボレーションによりBeatportからInteger (Vise Versa Music)としてリリース。現在はソロで作品を手掛け、ディープ・ヒプナティック・サウンドをプロデュースする。すでにHernan CattaneoやDeep Marianoを始め、東京のアーティストからも高い評価を受け、DJ業と平行しながら引き続き精力的にプロデュース業に熱心に取り組む。
